Only few months have passed after expanding Fortumo to Malaysia and Czech Republic and we can already announce a new country. I’m glad to let you know you can now start your mobile business in Poland.

Poland is another huge Easter European country with high mobile penetration (111%) which makes it attractive for internet businesses. It does not matter are you a local or international player, 38 million people should be enough for you to find your place in the market.

Few facts about Polish market:
* 43,8 million mobile subscribers
* 3 main operators with around 30% market share and 1 smaller with 4%
* 55% of all the mobile users are using pre-paid phone cards
* 12 million internet users
* available price points 2, 3, 5, 9 PLN (1PLN ~ 0,22 EUR)

So don’t waste a time any more, create an SMS-service in Poland.
