One more month passed by and we added so many improvements to our system. Moreover, we are preparing a lot of other surprises for Fortumo’s customers. Follow our blog and you will be the first to learn about them, still today it’s time for the inspiring story of a client of ours – Vladislav Lazarov and Beroe Online.

Beroe Online is the oldest fan-site of a football team in Bulgaria and it is fully functional at the moment. The beginning was set on the 10th of October 2000 and since then it undertakes great development each and every year. It is created by the fans of the football team BEROE and it’s not financed in any way by the football club. Nevertheless, the team, that consists of 16 people, keeps excellent relationship with the management, as well as the employees, the football players and the trainers of the team. On the 1st of October 2008 the newest project of Beroe Online was launched – online radio, that has its own programme, a few shows and live comment of the team’s matches and some of the games of other teams, bearing the same name, as BC BEROE 07 – women etc.

Only few months have passed after expanding Fortumo to Malaysia and Czech Republic and we can already announce a new country. I’m glad to let you know you can now start your mobile business in Poland.

Poland is another huge Easter European country with high mobile penetration (111%) which makes it attractive for internet businesses. It does not matter are you a local or international player, 38 million people should be enough for you to find your place in the market.

* 43,8 million mobile subscribers
* 3 main operators with around 30% market share and 1 smaller with 4%
* 55% of all the mobile users are using pre-paid phone cards

Although this is summary of release note 1st of April all the new features are real.

Have you ever looked into the messages view and tried to find out who, how often etc is using your services? Or maybe had to look did that particular number sent messages to your service. I’m pretty sure you have. Now we have made things much easier for you. You can download the whole log as .csv file with only one click.

Few weeks ago we introduced the service messages graph. This gave you an opportunity to look when and how many messages one particular service got. But many of you have a lot of different services so you would like to have an overall picture as well. I’m glad to let you know that you have this opportunity now- see from one graph how many messages and when all your services have got.

And last but not least, you can now order your own first keyword right through Fortumo web interface. This is useful if you have a big user-base and you would like to brand your service.

I suppose you have had plenty of situations where you have forgot something, missed the meeting/deadline at work etc. Most probably you would have to listen annoying lecture how you should let people know in advance etc. Fortumo has been thinking for a while how to solve it and now we have a solution for that. We have created a fully working revolutionary international service SMS-time machine.

As a developer I have had always problems meeting deadlines, thanks to Fortumo I don’t have to worry about this any more.
