As time flies Fortumo is getting bigger and bigger. BTW did you know that Fortumo had a birthday less than a week ago? Yep already a year has passed since all the Nordic people have also been able to create SMS-based services as easily as blogs. I’m pretty sure they can’t even imagine life without that possibility any more.
During the first year 9 796 people have created 32 280 services in 10 different countries.
Last Wednesday we also went out to celebrate a bit and Rain did some pictures.
We have also some new faces in the office you should know.
Yichun
Yichun is originally from Taiwan and she loves Estonian climate since we have usually temperature below 35 degrees not like in Taiwan 
. She is also studying Baltic Social Economy, mainly dealing with Russian society and way of thinking. Yichun loves to drink tea a lot and she is always smiling, so you won’t see her sad at all.

She is dealing with marketing in China and helps Pohan in other countries in Asia as well.
Silja
Silja is very organized and if something needs to be done you can be sure when Silja is responsible it will be done on time and very properly. Silja is extremely friendly and I personally spend at least 1 hour a day talking to her, but sometimes she will organize extra safety trainings for people who forget to wash the coffee machine’s milk container or lock the office door in the evening. And the most important fact is that she loves to spend her time in nature, swamp for example.

Kristina
Yes she is back, back again. After a year in Greece and some book selling in USA Kristina thought she would love to do some serious stuff as well So she joined Fortumo to change the world. When Kristina is in the office you can count that you can hear laughing and the room seems brighter than usual. BTW she really loves cartoons.

You just name it, there aren’t things Kristina can’t do. If you get a newsletter, read blog posts, see some changes on the website etc you should know that Kristina is behind all of those things.
